The "Wang it in the Welly" campaign was held in mid July 2009 and Whiteheads customers were generous to a fault in donating over £240.00 of their spare change into the yellow welly on the counter. Whiteheads then matched the collection and a whopping total of £480.00 was handed over to the fishermens mission who provide emergency support for fishermen and their families.
